First new Elvers tune since my relocation to Faversham in Kent and setting up the home studio here. This tune was written during a less than idyllic holiday in Cyprus last year. The place we'd booked turned out to be a slightly creepy deserted-feeling villa at the end of a dusty dirt track surrounded by orange groves. The nearby seafront was a mass of rubble, flotsam and the twisted metal of disintegrating military outposts and at night the bedroom was beset with mosquitos. The same trip spawned the song Mare Nostrum after the refugee drownings which happened just across the water while we were there. If you like the songs, you should see my Trip Advisor comments. xx
